Strawberries and Cream

Strawberries and Cream is a British food recipe with sweet vanilla cream.
- 1 lb strawberries
- 4 cups milk
- 4.4 oz sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 branch of vanilla
- Bring milk to boil with the branch of vanilla and simmer for a few minutes. Remove vanilla branch.
- Beat four egg yolks with sugar using the whisk. Add yolks to milk and simmer on low stirring non-stop for ten minutes. Do not allow milk to boil.
- Remove from fire. Let cream cool to room temperature then cool in the refrigerator.
- Wash strawberries and slice. Add to dessert bowl and pour over cream.
